changedIt’s been a little while since I last worked on Smoking Gun , but I recently spent some time going back through the project and polishing up a number of features. I wanted to make the game feel better overall, clean up some issues, and improve performance across several systems.
addedHere’s what’s new in Version 1.2.0 :
changedMade a wide range of optimizations across multiple systems, including: Enemy AI Camera system Projectiles Player class logic
changedAdjusted camera variables so the camera stays more aligned with the player, with a much lower chance of the player going off-screen
addedAdded back clothing simulation on Mexican bandido characters
changedIncreased the collection range of valuables

Here’s what’s new in Version 1.2.0:

  • Made a wide range of optimizations across multiple systems, including:

    • Enemy AI

    • Camera system

    • Projectiles

    • Player class logic

  • Adjusted camera variables so the camera stays more aligned with the player, with a much lower chance of the player going off-screen

  • Added back clothing simulation on Mexican bandido characters

  • Increased the collection range of valuables

  • Fixed a bug that caused the right gun to not fire properly

  • Fixed a glitched locomotion animation

  • Improved UI image clarity

If you run into any bugs or issues, please be sure to report them so I can get them corrected ASAP.
