addedMore content? Many of you have been asking for more content to play but unfortunately, as of right now there are no plans for future content. This does not mean that new content/a full game release is completely off the table. But right now I am quite burnt out from working on Slash/Jump and will only be doing minor updates for the foreseeable future.
changedNext update: 1.1Speaking of minor updates, somewhere in the next two weeks we will be launching Update 1.1 which will focus on making the speedrunning experience for Slash/Jump better. The centerpiece of the update will be an in-game timer, starting when you get control of the character after the first cutscene and ending when you lose control in the final cutscene. There will also be minor changes like stopping you from moving while the death transition bars are still covering the screen and a "Skip Cutscene" button in the menu. As well as a few other miscellaneous bits and bobs.
addedSpeedrunning communityI would like to give a special shout out to the Slash/Jump speedrunning community ( https://www.speedrun.com/SlashJump ). Having people enjoy our game so much they'd be willing to spend over a dozen hours in the first week of its launch to lower their personal best is unfathomable to us and we are so glad you enjoy our game that much, I will be joining the discord server when this post goes live and if any of you have any questions or you wish to talk to me or the team, please don't hesitate to talk to me on the server. And finally, I would like to give a personal thank you to xCatUwU and Daighboy for setting up and moderating the Slash/Jump speedrun.com page and speedrunning discord. Without you two the Slash/Jump speedrunning scene wouldn't exist as we know it, so thank you.

Thank you for the support
Me and the team are are in awe at the support for the game from you all in its first week. We are already three fourths of the way to 100 reviews, and closing in on 900 plays, which is crazy to us. Slash/Jump was only meant as a small project to be released on steam as a way to gain experience and to have something to point to when we're asked what we do. Having so many people enjoy and play our game has brought us so much joy in the last week and we are forever thankful for all your support.
