SKYHILL: Black Mist changes
Hello everyone, We keep watching and analyzing the way you play our game on streams and videos. We have noticed that one of the major problems that you encounter is the fact that storages at the obelisks are barely used because there aren’t many obelisks in the game and they all are located pretty far from each other. So, we’ve decided to detach the storage functionality from the obelisks and to introduce Personal Storages as separate objects. Now they are situated in the majority of locations and this will let you use this functionality at its maximum. Besides, one of the storages is located in the hub next to the Skyhill Inc. terminal.
Also, this patch is centered around stability of the saving system. We’ve found many situations when the system didn’t work as it was supposed to work, and it led to dead end situations and, what is worse, to a complete loss of game progress.
Besides that we keep on perfecting different aspects of the game. Here’s the entire list of modifications and updates:
Updated to more stable Unity version
Lot of bug fixing and optimisation for Save System
Additional video-cutscenes
Added movement by mouse, fixed aiming by mouse
Blind monsters became more dangerous. They catch hero even while running
Player storage now not in the obelisk. You can find it on different locations
When you eat something the GUI on heart refreshes at this moment. Not only when you close inventory
Fixed character statuses icons in the top left corner. Previously worked not correctly.
Fixed IK bug when aim with firearms
Increased mouse aim speed
Fixed bug when fuse from safe where dropping on floor
Fixed pathfinding on lot of locations
Fixed key issue in second bossfight
Fixed colliders for barricades
Bossfight 3 colliders fixes
Added additional secret passage between main hall and basement
Added additional secret passage between main hall and cinema
Changed running tutorial on the bridge
Added random for boxes in third bossfight
Moved savepoints in the beginning of the game, added some more for boss fights
On first phase of the game added Seekers
Fixed problem with non-active loot on locations
We don’t stop here, of course. Next large patch will be focused on user interface and user experience optimization.
