This small patch fixes a few bugs we found in Update 0.6.5, and adds improvements to Combat and UI. Expect significant new changes, improvements, and a good deal of new content in our next Major Update, slated for next week!
COMBAT
Improved Blocking mechanics: successful Blocks are physically blended and more accurately felt
Reduced delays after blocking to allow faster return attacks
Added penalty of 1.5x damage for being hit from behind
Removed the possibility of blocking an attack from behind; AI players also can no longer block attacks from behind
UI
Added Voice icon over players' heads when Push to Talk is active
BUG FIXES
Weapon impacts on characters would sometimes play "metal" hit effects instead of normal FX
Announcer voice would be clipped short at the conclusion of Online games
Sounds played by Khwarizmi's attacks were not properly attenuated
