Bug Fixes

Move Update: Vampiric Veins

  • Increased Vampiric Veins Damage by ~50%

  • Reduced Vampiric Veins damage-healing conversion rate by 1

I'm testing to see if Vampiric Veins works better as a more direct damage move that can still heal, but heals from higher damage rather than a higher rate of damage conversion. Ideally it's more of a utility move rather than a sustain move, as that's not exactly Dopplegrabber's intended identity. Feel free to send in your throughts via feedback form, discord, or any other channels.

Loot Changes

  • Increased chances of finding a 4th move in loot by 25%

  • Added Loot: Excess Biomass

I want to make sure players are able to get their 4th moves added in more often, so I've made then more likely to appear in level up windows. When the player is deep enough into the level system, they can run out of loot to obtain. to remedy this for now, I've added a new loot item, Excess Biomass. It's a small buff/heal, a bit of sustain while you go off and beat up more things. In the future, with the limited fight count, more loot, and encounter limitations to once-a-run, I suspect this issue won't be around anymore, but for now it stops softlocks.
