Hey everyone!
We're less than 60 days away from the Early Access launch!
This week I worked mostly on new fish, improving the main quest line, adding new side quests, and adding more shelter upgrades.
Here are some cool new small underwater creatures:
Also, here are this week's demo updates (Version 0.8.2):
-Improved how faraway objects are loaded/unloaded to increase in-game performance
-Reworked where upgrades can be built on the starting islands
-Removed a water splash sound when loading a game while underwater
-Increased popup duration for new recipes and upgrades
-Reduced camera shake when mining and chopping wood
-Added a failsafe to make sure that objects that don't find a valid spawn location don't end up at world coordinates 0,0,0
-Improved how the faraway smoke coming out of the water appears when underwater
-Reworked some of the audio effects to make them sound more "underwater"
As for the previous week, 99%+ of this week's work went into Early Access content, that is not listed here, to stay spoiler free :)
