Hello, everyone! I’m back with some more updates. We’re pushing a preliminary build of our brand new prologue to QA this coming weekend–exciting things abound!

We’re pushing a preliminary build of our brand new prologue to QA this coming weekend–exciting things abound! But that also means that this was a light week

Admin & Workflow

  • Had a meeting with a few members of the QA team and planned our preliminary pass for this upcoming weekend!

  • We gathered versions of all necessary assets for the first test build.

Art & Design

  • Prepped all existing sprites for loading into the engine!

  • Made adjustments and finalizations to the existing sprites found in the prologue.

  • Sketched placeholder assets for a few important visual overlays.

  • Continued work on the last few environments/sprites that have yet to be completed. (2 sprites, 3 environments).

Narrative

  • Started the fundamental rewrite of Chapter 1!

Music & Sound

  • Compiled our SFX list for the prologue and sent it off to the sound folks.

Technical

  • Began loading sprites and environments into the engine!

Promotional Content

  • Released another installment of Carraway’s Travelogue, complete with one of our new banners!

  • Released our weekly Silverblood universe lore post!

  • Prepped another video, coming soon to a post near you!

Merch

  • Looked into options for making traditional block prints, other wearable merchandise, and plushes!

(It's Eevee, sneaking into Vex's devlog to say: tansel plushies? Fingers crossed.)
