Shuffle Tactics changes
Greetings, Legends of Asteria!
The day is finally here, our Alpha Playtest is officially live! First, thank you all for signing up for this Playtest, we’re thrilled to have you on board!
We are incredibly excited to hear your first impressions of Shuffle Tactics. Your feedback this early on is essential to test the game’s overall gameplay & game feel.
What feedback are we looking for?
To make your feedback as impactful as possible, please let us know what you think about:
Progression: Do upgrades feel impactful?
Difficulty: Is the challenge level enjoyable? Well paced?
- Side-kicks & build varietyDo you feel like experimenting with new side-kicks, relics, and cards? Which ones do you like? Hate?
UI & UX: Does the interface feel intuitive to use? Is it easy to understand and read?
SFX & music: Do they match the game? Do they add weight to the attacks? Do you get tired of them after playing for a long time?
Please leave your feedback on our official discord or right here on the Steam Forums!
Of course, if you have suggestions we would be delighted to hear them!
Any bugs to look out for?
Because our game is still in Alpha, it unfortunately still has a few bugs here and there. None should greatly hinder your progression but here is a list of Known Issues to look out for:
Various placeholders are currently in the game
Some cards are missing some text
If you arrive in the Capital after having trained a second sidekick in the Snarl region, you will find the 3rd hire node to be empty and won’t be able to continue
If you quit a run mid-way, your gold may be reset when you reload the save.
The game may crash if you use Infused Bump to push an enemy.
The Hunter’s Arrow Volley attack still damages the hero outside the Danger Zone. Even if the hero stands behind or on the side of the Hunter.
At the start of the boss battle, the player has double the amount of cards in hand. The player can use all cards, but the duplicated cards disappear after switching to the sidekick.
Some SFX are delayed and are played after the corresponding animation or interaction.
The Miss Fortune shop’s screen only changes when something is won after spinning the wheel. If you don’t win anything, the screen will not change at all, which may make you believe nothing happened (but it did, there is just a very low chance of winning)
Is it too late to join the Alpha?
No! You can still join our Alpha Playtest by clicking on the opt-in button on the game's store page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2186580/Shuffle_Tactics/
So if you have any friends that wanted to test it out, let them know they still can!
Thank you all for coming along our development journey, we can't wait to hear from you!
