Operators, This Friday March 13 we’re hosting our first Play With The Devs session — and the Shrapnel team will be jumping into matches with the community.

This Friday March 13 we’re hosting our first Play With The Devs session — and the Shrapnel team will be jumping into matches with the community.

Developers — including the Head of Game Design — will be playing live matches while the community team streams the session in Discord. This is your chance to jump into the Sacrifice Zone with the people building the game, ask questions, and share your feedback directly with the team.

Because matches are solo queue, you may find yourself in a match with — or against — the devs.

And if you do…

There’s a bounty.

Sigma Challenge

Two Shrapnel team members will be designated as Sigma Targets:

McKenna Adam

If play with one of them during a match and deposit 38 Sigma, you can enter the giveaway.

To enter:

  1. Play with McKenna or McKenna in a match and deposit 38 sigma

  2. Take a screenshot of the scoreboard

  3. Post the screenshot in the Play With The Devs channel in Discord

Each verified screenshot counts as an entry. Limit: 1 entry per player.

At the end of the event we will randomly select 10 winners.

Reward:

10 × $20 Steam Gift Cards

Event Time

Friday 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT

The official event window is one hour, but devs may continue playing if the community desires...

If you want the best chance to run into the dev team, jump in right at 11:00 AM PT.

We’ll be hosting Play With The Devs sessions every week so the community can jump into matches with the team building Shrapnel.

If you’ve ever wanted to run into the devs in a match, ask questions about upcoming features, or help shape the future of the game — these are the best times to jump in.

Queue up, jump into matches, and you might run into the dev team.
