Hello, Shoomers Shoppers, it's Summer Sale time!
What was done:
KEY REMAPPING FEATURE added to PAUSE -> OPTIONS menu.
Updated game engine version (Unreal Engine 5) from 5.2 to 5.4 (needed for key mapping feature).
Removed the DLSS Nvidia plugin. Quite strange but this gave FPS boost at a low level of graphics;
More types of enemies spawn loot, "Abomination" (big guy) spawns random 3 loot pieces;
More (all) types of enemies counted into relevant achievement (kill n-enemies to unlock);
ChainSaw makes blood splat/squash additional sound at damage;
Fixed bug when Rocket-projectile cause 1 HP damage;
Increased Plasma gun damage;
Improved lights in E1M0, changed pickups, enemies, small tweaks etc.;
Other minor changes;
But there are a few side effects from the game version update: 1: build size increased from 600 to 680 MB; 2: from prev. step: UE 5.4 currently contains bug with direction light: here and here. This causes absence of shadows from ceiling/walls inside some parts of levels. Since it's quite a priority bug, I assume it will be fixed soon by Epic Games in the next version of UE.
