Hello, Booters and Shooters!

I spent a good chunk of this weekend working on game improvements.

What was done:

  • Text outline in all UI (menus, dialogues, etc.);

  • Text block centered in dialogues;

  • Vending machine (shop) spawn items of the same type with small coordinates deviations (increase readability);

  • Player footstep rate reduction (from ~200 to ~300 units means sound will be triggered 1.5 times less than before);

  • Fixed bug when footstep sound played when players were riding lift/platform;

  • Sprint logic changed: one time 'Shift' press - now enabling 'Auto-Sprint' or vice versa;

  • Added Voiceover slider sound volume to options - so players could get rid of protagonist one-liners completely;

  • Added mouse sensitivity slider (in the range 0.5-2.5 where 1.0 is Unreal Engine default sensitivity);

  • Fixed bug when "Quicksave" / "Quickload" could be used only once;

  • Added "Portal VFX" and sound for the point where the player placed the "Quicksave" portal;

  • Improved all levels of lighting.

  • Added sound FXs to "Console of Mudrota" dialogues;

  • Other minor changes;

That's it for now. -- Cheers Serhii.
