Shoomer Booter changes
Hello, Shoomers!
Players 'K.K.' and 'A.O.' provided meaningful feedback after their playing sessions. So I delivered some fixes:
Changed sprite for small health pickup
Increased the 'speed/velocity' of the player's jump
Added a few ammo pickups at the start
Increased ranged enemies projectiles speed
Fixed corridors too narrow in some places
Dissolve material for dead enemies
Blood decals for killed enemies
Added 'breadcrumbs' in the lava area so the player could find the 'secret' area more easily
Added dynamic crosshair
Added the 'Esc' button as an in-game pause trigger
A few other level/sound/meshes tweaks
Reduced explosive barrel sound radius & explosion effect
After these playtests, a few more improvements/tasks remained on the list. Feel free to share your playing experience!
