Shiba Sweet changes
Thank you so so so much to all the players who have already tried the playtest.
Based on the feedback forms you submitted, I have been organizing the bugs and issues that need to be addressed next. While the game is currently being developed by a single person, I will continue doing my very best to improve it and bring it to a better state. I truly hope everyone can enjoy a relaxing, comforting, and joyful experience.
Following the priority order, the following issues were quickly debugged during the first week, and the Steam version has been updated accordingly.
The ingredient shop now keeps its nighttime warning visible, helping prevent accidental purchases when there is not enough storage space.
Fixed an issue where starting a new game after returning to the main menu could cause the tutorial to become stuck due to ingredients not being delivered to the mailbox.
Fixed a bug where using a controller together with the blackboard feature could prevent ingredient mixing from being triggered correctly.
Improved the resolution of the packaging screen shown when opening the shop. The image quality has been increased by about 1.5 times compared to the previous version, which was slightly reduced for performance reasons.
Fixed an issue during Grandma’s tutorial where switching between controller and keyboard and mouse caused input icons to overlap instead of switching correctly.
When using keyboard and mouse during shop operation, controller input icons will no longer be displayed.
Fixed an issue where input icons did not appear on the blackboard during tutorials when playing with a controller.
In addition, a save file deletion feature has been added to the main menu. If all four save slots are already in use, players can now choose which unused save file to delete in order to create a new one.
Some attentive players also noticed that Grandma’s postcards were not received during gameplay. This is because the feature is still under development and has not been implemented yet. The good news is that the postcard system is nearly complete, and in the upcoming Demo version, you will be able to receive letters sent back by Grandma.
The playtest has only one week remaining and will run until January 25.
If you have not tried it yet, this is a great time to check the game’s overall smoothness and help uncover bugs hidden in the details. Your feedback will help the game grow into something you truly enjoy.
For players who prefer a more complete experience, the official Demo is planned to launch in early February. At that time, you will be able to play through the first stage of challenges and reach the ending.
Thank you very much for reading, and I look forward to seeing you in the game.
