SHALTER-03 changes
Hi everyone,
We’ve just passed a massive milestone in development, and we wanted to share some exciting progress with you.
The game’s core framework and technical infrastructure are now largely complete, and our main puzzle systems are fully functional and finished. From this point forward, our primary focus will shift toward polishing, optimization, and extensive testing, while continuing to expand the game with new puzzle mechanics and content throughout development.
Here are some of the major systems and features implemented in this update:
New Puzzle Mechanics We have implemented brand-new puzzle mechanics designed to challenge both your logic and teamwork. Each puzzle focuses heavily on communication, coordination, and cooperation between players.
Cross-Platform Support We have successfully connected Steam and Epic Online Services (EOS), allowing players from different platforms to seamlessly play together. No matter where your friends own the game, you’ll be able to team up and play together without issues.
Work on Xbox platform support is also currently underway.
Reconnect System One of the biggest frustrations in online co-op games is getting disconnected mid-session. To solve this, we’ve developed the core infrastructure for our reconnect system.
If a player disconnects during gameplay, they can now successfully reconnect directly back into the ongoing session.
Cloud Save Support Your progress is now much safer. We have implemented both local save support and Steam Cloud integration, allowing you to continue your progress even when switching between different PCs.
Core UI & Settings Menu Completed The game’s main UI systems are now fully functional. Graphics/video settings, customizable keybindings, and dedicated audio settings are all implemented and ready to use.
What’s Next?
Our next development sprint will focus on the following improvements:
Improving in-game voice chat quality and stability
Further polishing the reconnect system for a smoother experience
Creating a dynamic lobby area where players can freely walk around while waiting for teammates
Expanding and refining the lobby UI experience
We’re incredibly grateful for all your support, feedback, and patience throughout development.
See you in the next update!
