changedHope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. We were bug fixing our latest update to Self-Made. In this update education and jobs have been reworked to be more dynamic.

Now you will have more freedom to focus on your studies, which now grade you for effort, or on working while in school to not accrue as much debt. Grades will affect your ability to get into a better grad school tier and grades at both undergrad and post grad will also factor into salaries. Steam post imageThe player must spend hours looking for a job and pending on their work experience and schooling, they are qualified for certain jobs (Becoming a doctor requires medical school and residency, while becoming a lawyer requires law school). If the player's job application is rejected and they don't see their dream job, they can spend more months looking and applying to eventually land the job they want. A final note, we unfortunately had to shelve the game we were focused on but will now be focusing on Self Made for the time being. We will get started on another rework or addition as soon as this week and have posted in the discussions for players to suggest the focus of future updates.
