addedCompanies Rework Managing companies has gotten a rework. Players can now retain ownership of the companies they started instead of being forced to sell it. Not only that, but players can delegate who runs it and inherit it when taking over as their child. Players can also step away from the company and return if they feel they want to spend their player's hours on different projects. If the company has gone public, they will have a harder time coming back to run it, but will collect dividends while away.
addedSteam post imageWe also added two new types of companies, and now have 5 products per category, and the player can redesign completed products, and the company can also branch into other categories for a price (price scales up with number of categories and market size).
addedFurther more, all publicly traded companies can now be run as well. If the player gains a significant amount of shares, they will be asked to join the board where they can now offer to buy the company or ask to be CEO. The more shares you have, the better chance you have for either.
addedSteam post imageEven if you own a majority of shares, you have to abide by the laws of reaching a fair deal with the majority of the minority. Steam post image Whether you own the company or just have a 1% of the shares, you can become the CEO and manage the company from the Company manager app in the player's computer. Every Sector is a little different, but all share two pillars of management which are internal management and Brand. These can function a little different for each sector or subsector, but generally are mostly the same. However, the third pillar is different for every sector and even can vary within a sector. If a player is in the Staples, running Target will require managing stores, where as running Coca Cola will focus on products. Steam post image Running Netflix is more focused on media content and even theme parksSteam post image running Apple is more about reiterating flagship products and innovating new products One of the most important decisions a player can make is picking the Day-today managing President, whom if you wish can delegate one two or all pillars. Steam post image Presidents likely will have traits that will make them good manages of some pillars, or negative traits that will make them suffer at others. There are also Elite traits which bring massive benefits, causing the player to decide for themselves, to pick a lower skilled Elite-traited President or a high expertise one with one or two negative traits. This update has come with bug fixes (Tutorial was outdated) and minor Quality of life improvements (found and removed redundant code causing lag).
