What changed
- Fixes
During testing, we uncovered a few crucial game breaking bugs that were hot-fixed same day. A few quality-of-life notes were added to the roadmap as well. As far as feedback goes, there was an overwhelming amount of positive comments on the games look, feel, and environment. As expected, others felt as if the game was too hard (as is the nature of foddians.)
Here are some of the updates from testing:
Laser materials were not loading in the Green and Red Pyramid (Fixed)
The rings around Mushroom Forest were displacing themselves randomly (Fixed)
Players kept tab locking themselves into the inventory screen (Fixed)
Night time was shortened even further as some areas are notably more difficult during (Fixed)
Players were getting stuck at Gold due to lack of design cues (Fixed)
Here are some of known issues gathered from testing which will be corrected in future updates:
Controller sensitivity
Some bindings do not work on Playstation controllers due to Unreal's lack of native support
Shadows on medium settings in Pipes (still investigating this bug)
Please keep in mind that some features will take time. Scuttle Up is the passion project of a one person team, who started with zero experience, and has a budget of $0. When it comes to features and patches, your patience is greatly appreciated!
