What changed

hi there its been a while since i last made a post, we have been busy at work with the game
i would say sooner rather then later we will have a demo done, its a lot of dotting on the i with
most of it being the polishing of implemented spells and upgrades. right now the count for both
spells and upgrades is 50 spells and 49 upgrades. with the upgrades being fully implemented but the spells being a little less then halfway done, spells require a buttload of extra effort since they are handmade per spell with some effects taking upward of 2/3 hours for a single spell effect. but luckily the more spells that are done the faster the remaining spells get ! We also decided to change
the background of the starting location a bit so it looks less like "Popular wizard game with tower" there will be 2 different zones for the demo but around 9 for the full game with all their own little quirks and collectables,
i cant make any timed promises for a demo release but hopefully it will be pre 2026 and after the
initial feedback rounds of the game it will take a while to implement the remaining 200~ spells / upgrades and all the planned classes. this definitely turned into a way bigger game then originally intended but we think that's perfectly fine, i love making games that have complexity in them and this game has thought me so many things about game making that any game after this will be so much easier to make!
