Scriptura changes
With launch ten days out, here’s a closer look at what makes Scriptura different from a standard typing trainer.
32 translations in 26 languages. Whether you learned the King James as a kid, prefer the modern clarity of the Berean Standard, want to practice your Spanish with the Reina-Valera, your Russian with the Synodal, or your Japanese with a modern edition — Scriptura meets you where you are. Progress saves independently per translation, so you can switch freely without losing your place.
1,189 chapters. The complete Bible, Genesis to Revelation. No shortcuts, no excerpts.
Typing that respects the text. All verse text is normalized so you’re never fighting smart quotes or em-dashes. Strict mode (on by default) asks you to backspace through errors — because the goal isn’t speed, it’s presence.
79 achievements. One for every book, plus milestones for Genesis 1, error-free chapters, streaks, and stat thresholds. Complete a book in any translation and the achievement unlocks across all of them.
11 visual themes. Each with its own animated shader background — from ancient scroll to night sky. Pick the one that matches your headspace.
The Daily Passage. A curated passage each day, with a streak counter to keep you honest.
Ten days. Wishlist if you haven’t already.
