0.2.2 Mostly Fixes and Usability

Additions and Changes Enemies now spawn a simple explosion particle effect when they are killed. Notifications for rewards and items now last for 30 seconds instead of 10. Made some indicators a little larger.

Additions and Changes

  • Enemies now spawn a simple explosion particle effect when they are killed.

  • Notifications for rewards and items now last for 30 seconds instead of 10.

  • Made some indicators a little larger.

  • Slightly increased the player's starting resources.

  • Turrets now show their firing range during building preview mode.

  • You can now see the castle's control range while already deployed by hovering the packup / deploy button.

  • Fixed a typo in the tutorial text and made a few small additions to hopefully make some things clearer.

  • Mini castle's now show a text description of their current status / task and of what resource they are extracting if they are extracting a resource.

  • Mini castle's now show a name and profile picture placeholder for the vassal driving them.

  • Made the smoke and steam particles darker and larger, which let me half their spawn rate while also improving their appearance.

  • You can now deselect things by pressing the escape key on your keyboard.

  • Notifications during the tutorial now show a continue next button instead of a dismiss button.

  • The dismiss / continue button on notifications has been increased in size, and the tool-tip can say "dismiss" or "continue" depending on the situation.

  • A second, more challenging scrapfall now spawns shortly after the tutorial in complete.

Bug Fixes and Optimizations

  • Fixed a bug that stopped enemies from spawning. It was caused by sitting next to the scrapfall, packing up, then sitting again less than 30 seconds later.

  • Fixed a bug where pipe junctions were showing they had the inputs and outputs of the previously selected building.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the vassals to continue taking movement orders while the player was in building preview mode.

  • Mobile extractors can no longer mine scrapfalls if the scrapfall is outside your control range.

  • More optimization of textures and materials.

  • Changed some rendering settings to improve GPU performance and turned on CSM caching.

  • Fixed a missing collision on the wall defense building.
