SCP New Management changes
This month has been incredibly hectic and full of scheming. Lets kick things off with a high note-
1K+ members on Discord!
YOU DID IT!!! The Discord server has passed 1000members, which is absolutely insane! Our little community has grown quite a bit since that old Reddit post way back when. Thank you all so much for sticking around.
To celebrate we placed some Foundation-certified party hats on the SCPs we've managed to contain so far.
Updates to the game
Steam post imageWe are working on an adding a tutorial. It's still in the early stages of development, but it will help ease you into the games systems and mechanics.
A constant issue since the first playtest have been guessing what your workers are doing. We've experimented with a bunch of different solutions to tackle this issue, and we finally found our winner! This popup appears above every NPC to let you know exactly what's going on inside their head.
It has different designs based on what it wants to convey:
| Design | Meaning |
| Steam post image | Automatic Does not need any intervention from the player. The NPC is solving an issue by themselves, like getting food, going to a hygiene station, etc. The icon changes to convey what the NPC is solving/doing. |
| Steam post image | Action required Requires the player to intervene. In this case, the NPC cannot reach a hygiene station (or there might not be one). |
| Steam post image | Critical You need to do something as fast as possible or the NPC will die. |
