Runix: Pinball Roguelike changes
Hi there! A new version, v1.04, for the demo with improvements has been released!
Completely reworked the score system!
Now every time that you kill a monster or complete a mission, you will increase your score multiplier.
When you lose the ball, you will obtain a score bonus for that specific ball that came from { score multiplier x table mechanics score (ramps, gold barrels, etc.) }.
You can see the score at the top middle at all times, or to the left of the screen after you lose the ball
This will allow you to know how well you did and will create a deeper score system!
More missions added to the mission pool.
You will need to increase your mission level in order to find them
Ultimate system direction reworked
Now it is easier to aim for the ultimate when using a keyboard or controller.
I have added a precision system that gives you small acceleration, so it is easier to aim
With the controller, you can use the left joystick to give it direction
Added Virtual Pinball Support!
Now you can play Runix in your virtual pinball!
You will need to add "-vpin" in the launching option in Steam, and it will launch in virtual pinball mode!
It needs at least 2 monitors to work!
You can configure the UI navigation in the input menu ( under the options) for a better experience.
If you have a strange monitor configuration, you can decide which monitor to use by adding the monitor number after the "-vpin" command, like "-vpin 2"
Completely changed the boss from Act 1. Now it has a Druid!
Completely reworked the balance of most of the balls. Try new combos because new combos have emerged
Implemented Localization! For now, Spanish has been added
Added a language selector in the options
Changed the description of some enemies / powers / events / balls
Added an encyclopedia for enemies
Tweaked the map generation so it gives better maps overall
Added more descriptive text in the Wizard Tower for increasing card levels
Moved the tutorial to include the starting bonus
Added table selector for the infinity mode ( only 1 table in the demo)
Added an indicator when the ultimate is ready on the ball; this way, it is easier to detect when you have the ultimate available
During multiball, now you can see which ball will be affected by the ultimate
Achievements ( only for main game)
Added an anti-cheat security system
Added a red trail indicator to the enemy balls so you can identify better which ones are bad
Added a hover in the run summary screen for artifacts and balls so you can see better your combination
Removed health given in the rewards from the last boss in the last act
Improved performance. Now it runs on a potato PC if you go for the lowest graphics settings
Fix navigation in the merchant for the controller under specifics circustances
Fix navigation for the controller during the tutorial
Fixed some sounds not being affected by the sound sliders
Fixed some tutorial buttons
Change the balances of a lot of balls and enemies
Removed the 3rd enemy during the map selection after floor 9
Fixed your score and global score leaderboards
Fixed some times flippers don't work under very rare circumstances
Lots of small bug fixes
Probably more changes that I forget because I have changed a lot >_<
