Hi everyone! I have been working hard to get the demo out as soon as possible!

How to craft a good demo?

Getting the demo right is harder than most developers realize. It is not only about making the game functional. You need to go an extra step. A good demo should be

  • Fun

  • Bug-free (as much as possible)

  • Battle tested

  • Polished

  • Replayable (if possible)

  • With basic explanations about how to play

It is difficult to have it right from the beginning. And it is something that you will improve over time, even when you think it is finished.

How have I crafted my demo?

After having all the systems in place, I have been testing it with friends and people who are close to me who have played lots of games. I analyzed what their pain points are. What is fun and what is not. All the bugs that they encountered...etc After having a good demo. I have taken it to some presential festivals to see how more people are playing it, noting the feedback from users, and changing the bad things.
