Runika: A World of Little Legends changes
To generate the world of Runika, a complex map generator is required that can combine random generation with pre-built areas. Mistakes creep in from time to time. A single wrong bit could cause parts of Wealdheim to disappear. Always a moment of heart attack for me, but here is the fix!
New objects
You can make a sleeping bag at the tailor's table. This can simply be picked up from the floor, making it ideal for traveling.
The new beacon flag shows an arrow so that you can mark locations.
Graphics
For International Pride Day, on June 28, even more heart flags are now mingling in the rain at Blargh! 🌈🌧️
Customizations
There is a new category "Base Building" in the recipe book, which makes it easier to understand where to find something.
Normal torches can now also be crafted on the regular crafting table.
Directional arrows now become larger when approaching the target.
A fallback framerate limit is now available for systems without VSync.
As long as the game is not the active window, the framerate is throttled to 12 to save energy.
Branwen's description to the farmhouse has been improved.
Default "deadzones" are now set for controllers to improve control.
The Jack-o'-Lantern pumpkin is now available at Sao.
The new furniture can now also be crafted in birch wood.
A note is now displayed in the intro that it can be skipped.
Bugfixes
An error in the data migration of chunks sometimes led to parts of Wealdheim being reset.
An incorrect "active" flag on chunks could cause Wealdheim to partially disappear.
The Spectaria kept reappearing at the Home Totem.
In the intro, the daytimes were not adjusted to the shortening of the night.
A Unity bug regarding mouse clicks had to be worked around, as some menus could not be opened as a result.
The heading of the settings is now immediately positioned correctly.
The moving background setting was still present.
When closing the menu via controller, the cursor would remain.
Before the first save, the time of day was not applied correctly when changing scenes.
The Catboy Viking Achievement could no longer be obtained.
Enemies could still move the camera around after you died.
When entering a new scene, the cursor only became visible after moving the mouse.
Known bugs
Sometimes cliffs are not displayed correctly.
