Ahoy, mateys!
Today's patch adds a complete rework of the zone transition system. Now you may find an exit circle at the beginning of most maps, so that you may return to the previous level. The state of the map is saved on exit and loaded on reentry. This feature is currently only supported in singleplayer, but some maps have received special backtracking support, so that you may turn back even when the previous map has no saved data. Selecting a zone from the menu resets the entire world state.
But that's not all!
Other features and changes:
Extended the Ancient Lair to have some downtime after leaving town
Added "Coca Extract" rare bottle type. It gives +100% walking speed while drinking.
All players and followers are teleported to boss fights and important cinematics
Auto-sell is now disabled by default. Added hint pickup.
The Trapper's damage has been massively increased
You may now leave some boss areas after the fight has ended (two-way jumps)
"Select Zone" renamed to "Select Chapter"
Fixed: right-click on vendor items would cause various side effects
Added lifebar size limit (at 1000 base hp, 2000 for structures)
Game is now muted while out of focus
- Fixedplayer respawning has been disabled during the prison fight and prison escape
Fixed: Kraken Tentacles are now always shared across network
Fixed: life bar segments when life reservation and rum transfer parts are both visible
Fixed: Rotten Liver effect is now shared across network
Fixed: Swarm Source is no longer culled by distance in multiplayer
Additional netcode improvements
