Ruina changes
Challenge Mode is here for Ruina.
This update introduces a brand-new way to play, focused on handcrafted puzzle scenarios that reward planning, foresight, and mastery - not luck or resets.
In Challenge Mode, each puzzle is carefully designed around a fixed setup. You’ll need to work within constraints and make the most of every move to hit the score target.
What to expect
Each challenge features:
A fixed board layout
A limited number of moves
No shuffles
Clear score targets
Preset scrolls and consumables chosen to support the intended solution
There’s no room for randomness — success comes from understanding the board, sequencing your moves, and using your tools efficiently.
25 Handcrafted Challenges
Challenge Mode launches with 25 unique puzzles, each designed to test different mechanics, synergies, and scoring strategies.
More challenges content are planned for future updates.
If you’ve been enjoying Ruina’s systems and want a more deliberate, puzzle-focused experience, Challenge Mode is built for you.
Thank you to everyone who’s played, shared feedback, and supported the game so far! Challenge Mode is available now as a free update.
