Ruina changes
Ruina Winter Sale + Development Roadmap
Ruina is currently 15% off as part of the Steam Winter Sale, and I wanted to take a moment to share what’s coming next.
The launch has been incredibly encouraging so far — thank you to everyone who’s played, left feedback, or picked up the game. Development is very much continuing, and I have several updates planned over the next few months.
Coming Very Soon — Challenge Mode (by end of December)
Before the end of the year, I’m adding a brand new Challenge Mode, featuring:
25 handcrafted challenges
Fixed “set-piece” gem boards
Limited moves, no shuffles
Clear score targets to hit
This mode is designed to be more puzzle-focused and to test mastery of Ruina’s systems in a tighter, more deliberate format. My goal is to release more of these each week so stay tuned for additional puzzles!
January Content Update
In January, Ruina will receive a larger content drop, including:
25 new scrolls
2 new bags
2 new boons
This update focuses on expanding build variety, synergies, and long-term replayability.
March Content Patch
Looking a bit further ahead, I’m planning another content update in March that will include:
Additional new scrolls
A brand-new gameplay mechanic (details coming later 👀)
This update will meaningfully expand how runs can play out, and I’m excited to share more once it’s ready.
