What's Next?
The last update will be mostly full of cosmetic and small changes that don't affect gameplay too much. But there is one feature I will be adding in the last update that is fairly important and that is a save system for while you are in the middle of a dungeon.
Right now, if you were to save the game in the middle of a dungeon and close the game, upon reopening it would just regenerate the floor that you were previously on. I will be implementing a save system that will keep track of the floor generation including enemies and the boss.
This way you can tackle the boss as many times as you want while being able to take a break between fights. -------------------------
Mac Support
All previous updates and changes made in this update are in the mac version right now
Data
Fixed the bug that randomly deleted your save file
Battle
Fixed player randomly taking damage at the start of the next battle after ending a battle with a dodge incoming
Fixed score displaying incorrectly at times
Last update I said that you can no longer get a dodge on your 2nd bar, but I think it is actually true now
Changed monster countdown from 3210 to 1234
Fixed issue I caused in one of the last updates that made the boss sprite change to a spider during healthbar regenerate animations
Fixed issue I caused in one of the last updates where after the boss gets to 0 hp, you had to attack again to trigger the boss' death
Boss new HP bar animation now lines up with the SFX better
First bar during countdown is now green not white
UI
Fixed inventory item stacking bug when trying to swap multiple items continuously
Boss name now fits in collection log
On the loot screen's collection log, it now just says "Monster" instead of naming the current monster.(the monster name can still be found in the collection log on the dungeon screen)
The "floor" collection log on the loot screen is now /12 if there is a boss on that floor and it adds the boss' collected items to the total
Made WASD visuals go default during countdown
If the boss is selected in the collection log and you press travel, the button is now properly highlighted
Dungeon rooms and hallways now go behind the collection log UI on zoom in/monster encounter
Iron full helm now has the correct sprite in the inventory instead of an iron med helm
Tutorial
During the dodge tutorial:
there is no longer a second dodge-bar after you successfully dodge
dodges properly flip-flop until you successfully dodge
dodge indicator is now always correct
Tutorial no longer freezes are finishing, and I removed the fade transition after finishing the tutorial (this may have not been the case for previous patches)
Loot tutorial no longer requires you to equip your sword loot instead of just taking it into your inventory (this may have not been the case for previous patches)
Items
- Got rid of speed effect on weapons so bows instead of being +Speed, -Strength; are now+Vitality, -Crit Strength; Also changed values to +%15, -%5 while all other weapon positive and negative effects are %10
Sound
The keyboard pressing SFX now triggers for all key presses and releases instead of just WASD
