Additional Notes: Would also recommend a SSD or HDD cache to help with load times. An SSHD would also work. This game also works on Windows 11. Unsure of Windows XP and Vista, but apparently it is listed as supported on GameGuru's store page.

Some known issues and things to note are now included in a helpful file called "Hey! Read this!.txt If you have any issues running the game, please read that first before asking any questions or reporting any bugs or issues.

And thank you for checking out my game. It's been something I've wanted to do for almost my entire life. And now, it's finally out. Needless to say, it's been a long journey, but it's one I am happy with having taken. I hope you'll be happy as playing it as I was making it.

Steam Version Update:

As for this old steam version, it is going to be abandoned. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of attempting to publish the game on steam, I was unsuccessful, as I found out the parts of GameGuru which allowed for Steam publishing had been broken beyond repair as a result of my modifications to the engine. In all of the years I was testing the game, something I neglected was to ensure there were no issues when attempting to put this game on steam.

However, the methods I have used to make this game are simply far too baked into the engine to undo now. And as a result of a lack of finer controls over the steam api and user interface of GameGuru, I had to cancel the Steam update, and opt for other platforms.

So I'm sorry to anyone who was expecting to be able to play this game on steam. As a result of this cancellation, I will be putting the game on itch, gamejolt, and a few other places if possible. I hope you can forgive me, and are able to understand.

Rogue Planet was my first game that I used mainly to learn level and game design, and unfortunately, a rather expensive lesson to have to learn the hard way. I'll be moving to unreal engine 4 and trying to make a much better game on that engine, but until then, I hope you enjoy my game here on GameGuru and have fun.

There will be new videos about the game on my youtube channel, so check that out if you haven't already. You can find it on my website: https://threeofspades.weebly.com/ then look in the social media page, and you'll find it there.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, you can find my discord on there too. So don't hesitate to reach out, otherwise I can't know what you think without you saying anything. I am always at least willing to hear fun game ideas out within reason.
