Rogue Planet 1 changes
Been a minute, and I hate to keep you in the dark, so here's a ton of wip new stuff I've been making.
A big new WIP map in a flooded city:
More new and improved textures:
Also been working on more awards, adding more music from the orchestra of eternity, fixing up some of the text, improving more visuals, and making more fun sound stuff, alongside the usual map making. I don't want to spoil the endings, so I won't be showing off the other new maps. But thankfully the game has made some excellent progress and is nearing completion. I haven't made too many updates lately since this is just a casual hobby I do for fun, and work, life, and the holidays have pre-occupied my time as of late.
My current plan is to try to launch a public stress test early next year, which will be used to see how well the game runs before everything is set in stone, plus to see if you can break it so i know what to fix. You are highly encouraged to play that stress test when it releases, as it will be available to everyone this time. So when that happens, go ahead and try to break my game if you can. if you can't, then that's good because it's working. So in other words, I can't fix any bugs if no one says anything about them. Or if the goblins decide to poop on you in the wrestling section and when their dead corpse crashes into the toilet, it crashes the game, in which case, that is intentional and will not be fixed.
So hopefully it all works, and after I get done with my game, I'll see about giving back to the people who still use this engine and want to make games that look like they came out in 2014 on windows 8 as opposed to 1990 on the Nintendo 64. Because it really deserves a lot better than what Lee Bamber and his animal farm have allowed it to become. And seeing how none of them care about making this easy, I'll be taking matters into my own hands to dig this engine out of the grave.
Turns out gameguru can do some crazy stuff without overwhelming first time game developers with coding and learning advanced college courses they'll never use when they eventually have to work another job at McDonald's, so I'd rather more people be able to also make fun fps games that look good without giving up the entire idea because no one cared to help them when they were desperate and wanted their money while giving them a half baked product.
I guess we'll see how it goes from the stress test to release, but otherwise, I'll be busy with Christmas, and I hope you have happy holidays. Unless you don't celebrate the holidays, in which case, I hope you enjoyed this news update.

I will also be uploading more Rogue Planet videos on the 3ofSpades Purgatory YouTube channel, so check that out too if you haven't already. Also been quiet on that because of life, but I won't be for much longer:
