Rogue Loops changes
Before diving into the details of this update, we want to emphasize that we've been carefully listening to all the feedback from our players. Your input has always been a guiding light for us. Thanks to both your criticisms and the things you've enjoyed, we've been able to take the game much further. We'll continue to improve and update the game based on this feedback.
One of our greatest sources of motivation throughout this process has been the Steam Reviews and feedbacks from you. Your Steam Reviews not only inspire us but also help new players discover the game. If you're enjoying the game, please don't forget to share your thoughts with us. Every Steam Review and feedback is truly valuable to us.
Apart from bug fixes, this patch brings two important changes to Rogue Loops:
The Complete Rework of Wishes of the Well (Talent Tree)
We were previously fond of the old structure — its visual design, thematic fit, and depth. However, we’ve come to understand that it could feel overwhelming for players. On top of that, many minor talents didn’t quite justify the Blue Essence spent on them.
So, we’ve rebuilt it from the ground up. The new system is much simpler, yet significantly more impactful. It’s easier to understand, more rewarding to engage with, and designed to complement your runs in more meaningful ways.
Loop Bazaar – A New Purpose After the Loop
We’ve added a new structure that gives players more reasons to keep pushing forward after a run. This includes a quest-giving NPC and a powerful shop that fuels your meta progression like never before.
Meet Khairon — a long-lost soul who entered the Loop years before the Velmont family. Having lost many comrades and even his own arm, Khairon now offers powerful rewards in exchange for fulfilling his requests. These include potent talent relics and stat boosts, as well as guidance on some of the deeper mysteries of the Loop itself.
Features, Bug Fixes, and Other Improvements:
Fixed a bug that caused room completion rewards to display incorrectly. * Fixed an issue where character speed would break after dashing. * Fixed distortion in relic icon sizes in the UI. * Fixed an issue where relics in the inventory could not be selected in some cases. * Corrected several translation errors. * Fixed a bug that prevented some players from purchasing items in Merchant Shops. * Resolved several invisible collision issues in Swamp and Ice Forest biomes. * Updated the notification system that sometimes failed to show new updates on NPCs. * Fixed various UI issues that occurred under different screen resolutions. * Improved visibility for some Room Debuffs that were not clear enough. * Slightly increased Circe’s attack speed. * Nerfed some Room Debuffs like Burning Wall, Fear Wave, and Rat Nest. * Adjusted the balance of fire-related skills and relics. * Improved some talents (e.g., Well of Wishes) and relics. * Updated lighting in the newly added palace-themed biome. * Adjusted enemy health in the Ice Forest biome. * Adjusted enemy health in the Palace biome. * Tweaked the Curse Bar system used to access the Boss. * Fixed UI misalignments caused by text length differences across some languages. * Nightmare and Hell difficulty modes balanced. * Skill cooldowns balanced.
Gamepad Aim System Improvement
We've made significant improvements to the gamepad-based aim system, which was one of the most requested features by the community. We've refined the controls to provide a smoother and more intuitive aiming experience, making it easier for players to take control and enhance their gameplay. This is just one of the many ways we're working to make your experience even better.
As we mentioned earlier, your feedback has been instrumental in shaping Rogue Loops. But just as important have been your supportive messages and positive reviews, which truly keep the development team inspired and this game moving forward.
Thank you all for being part of the journey. See you in the next patch notes! Break the Loop!
