We're excited to announce that RoboSquad has officially moved to Beta! Before we get into all of the changes, here's a message from us:

This early access phase is a unique opportunity for us to develop, innovate, and expand together. Expect to see incredible battles, strategic masteries, advanced technology and, of course, some unexpected glitches.

New System Features
Continuing to improve the Gamepad experience
New opening cinematic and tutorial
End of Match flow has been revamped. The winning team screen now features your Zoran taunting!
New Gameplay Features
Explosive barrels! There's also a special goo variant for Sanctions Labs
New Visual Features
The enemy and ally Fresnel has been replaced with an outline
You can now preview all throwdowns and abilities in the main menu
You can now preview all weapons in the main menu

Continued progress on Sanctions Labs
UI / UX
The Inventory UI has been updated to reflect our new style!
Murder train notification has been resized
Killfeed size has been reduced
New icons are present for all throwdowns and abilities
New Audio Features
Ammo pickups now trigger a sound when you interact with them.
Balance Changes
Nyx's rocket boots Kinetic Charge drain and thrust has increased
Nyx's threshold to be able trigger rocket boots has been significantly reduced
Skrill's charge now consumes Kinetic Charge
Piko's double dash now has a shorter cooldown
Time to capture a Control Point has increased
Bug Fixes
Samurai hat being see through on one side fixed
Attachments now properly transition in and out for Holograms
Gun Game winner XP now awarded properly
Zoran turn table on titlescreen now
Burst Rifle iconography now consistent across the experience
Fixed audio settings being defaulted to 0
Fixed controller sensitivities being defaulted to 0
Known Issues
Some attachments aren't positioned correctly on certain classes
Hovering over weapon pickups in close proximity won't update the weapon name
End of Match Zoran positioning can be... erratic
Rarely HUD throwdown icon pointers can get stuck on screen
