Team Up Your Way

Getting into a game is simple. You'll be able to:

  • Match with another player using Quickplay

  • Join a friend using a Room Code

  • Invite friends directly to your game

  • Talk directly in game with newly added Voice Chat

Built for Co-op

Roboquest VR multiplayer is built for 2-player online co-op, with a few rules in place to keep every run fair, smooth, and synchronized:

  • Runs must begin together. (Players can't join or rejoin a run already in progress).

  • Both players will need to open doors and confirm when skipping cinematics.

  • The game won't pause while either player is selecting perks, so choose wisely!

Shared Adventure, Individual Progress

You are fighting side by side, but each player keeps their own progression during a run.

  • Chests, healing, and item rewards are generated separately for each player.

  • Purple room reward chests require both players to reach the reward area before they can be claimed.

  • Found an amazing weapon that fits your teammate better? You can share weapons with each other throughout the run.

Don't Leave a Guardian Behind

Getting knocked down doesn't mean the run is over.

  • Self-revive after a cooldown.

  • Revive your teammate immediately and bring both players back with health split evenly between you.

Basecamp Progress

Joining a friend's game is easy. Players can access any runs the host has already unlocked, making it simple to squad up without everyone needing the exact same progression.

Stay tuned. We will have even more multiplayer updates to share, including co-op gameplay and matchmaking closer to launch.
