Ririka von Lustveil now speaks Japanese!

We're happy to announce that v1.3.0 adds complete Japanese language support to the game. Every act, every scene, every menu — the full experience is now playable in Japanese. This update also adds translated character names for both the Japanese and Russian localizations.

What's new

• Full Japanese translation of all three acts

• All UI, menus, settings screens, and system text localized in Japanese

• Character names translated into both Japanese and Russian (e.g. "Porter" becomes "門番" / "Привратник")

• CJK font support with proper fallback for symbols and mixed-script display

• To switch languages, go to Preferences and select 日本語

Translation Notes

Ririka's dialogue has been carefully localized to capture her signature bratty "mesugaki" tone — her lines use casual, provocative Japanese speech patterns that match her dominant personality. Other characters have distinct voices too: Kai speaks in rough masculine Japanese, Professor Elias uses formal academic register, and the Headmaster uses old-man speech patterns.
