Quick dev update.

I’m officially out of the phase of waiting for Riftborn to blow up out of nowhere. I’m now in the mindset of build it and they will come.

Also, Riftborn got its first sales!

That meant a lot.

Not because it’s some huge breakthrough, but because it’s proof. Someone saw the game, chose it, and stepped into it. That matters.

On the dev side, I’ve been putting a lot of time into the Gilgamesh lore expansion. Alongside that, a TON of balancing, tweaks, and new systems. Just continuing to make the game feel better each time you play.

Outside of the updates, I’ve been thinking a lot about perspective.

I’m really grateful I get to do this.

I get to work on a game from home, on my own terms. That wasn’t an option for my ancestors. Not for my grandparents. Not even really for my parents.

So every time I open this project, I don’t take it lightly.

At this point, it’s not about waiting.

It’s about showing up and chipping away at something I already see clearly in my head. Every update gets a little closer.

Slow progress is still progress.

If you’re reading this, thank you for being part of the journey.
