Rift Tavern changes
🛡️ 1. Defense System Understanding enemy attack patterns and choosing the right defense is the first step to survival.
Dodge: A basic maneuver to quickly escape attack range or get behind the enemy.
Parrying: Timing your guard perfectly will put the monster into a 'Knock-down' state.
Knock-down Reward: Fallen enemies are incapacitated, giving you two choices: a barrage of normal attacks or a Wall Slam via a charge attack.
⚔️ 2. Attack System Attacks in Rift Tavern are divided into two types, requiring strategic choices depending on the situation.
Normal Attack: Basic attacks that deal steady damage.
As weapon Tiers increase, flashier and more powerful combo attacks are unlocked.
Charge Attack: A powerful strike executed by holding and releasing energy, triggering a 'Stagger' effect.
3-Step System: Every weapon has 3 levels of charging, with completely different attack forms for each level.
12 Weapon Variations: 12 distinct weapon types offer different charge actions, adding variety to combat.
Stagger Effect: Delivers heavy hitstun and knockback to enemies. Using it on objects launches them to deal projectile damage.
💥 3. Finish Mechanic: Wall Slam The true value of a charge attack (Stagger) comes from the 'Wall Slam' follow-up.
Trigger Condition: When a charge attack hits a knocked-down or normal enemy, they are launched backward.
Wall Slam Effect: If the launched enemy hits a wall, it triggers massive bonus damage and a splash effect that suppresses nearby enemies.
Farming Synergy: The shockwave from a Wall Slam destroys nearby crates and objects simultaneously, helping with efficient resource gathering.
