Repeated intro
Hello! Another week has passed and we're back with another update! I think we're gonna do weekly updates from now on unless there's an urgent bug fix needed. Just so I can bring quality updates and not spam everyone's notifications/downloads.

Relic Abyss changes
For this week's update, I focused on quality of life improvements. I know everyone has been asking for these since the start of Early Access. Sorry if it took a while to update it!
We'll have to move Chapter 3 level rework on next week's patch because I felt like the game desperately wanted these changes.
Effect Visibility Graphic Option
This is one of the most requested things. Been postponing it for a while because I had to modify every single relic and skill in the game just to implement it. But I'm glad it's finally done! Hope this helps with everyone suffering from too much shit happening on the screen haha.
New HUB Buttons
Another main complaint everyone is having is that the NPCs are too far apart in the HUB. This causes players to lose a lot of time traversing it between runs. While some players enjoy immersive experiences, majority thinks it's a waste of time. We can't actually remake the whole HUB to be smaller, so I think this will be a better solution.
Perks Rework (Dexterity is back baby!)
Perks system has been reworked so that there will be a guaranteed Stats placement every 5 levels. It is randomized between the 7 base stat types in the game.
When we first launched our demo one of the main features of the game are the stats system. It let you place stats manually whenever you leveled up. While this helped with making the game easier, it made it seem that all runs felt the same. Which is why we changed the system to have the advancements instead. While it's a great step in the right direction for the game, some players hated it because dexterity was nerfed to the ground. Hopefully this change will help dexterity to be back again.
Mildred's basic attack is now changed to rely on Dexterity.
25 Minute Run option
Another thing I've changed this patch is that we have made 25 minutes as the default run mode of the game. This will help beginners learn it better vs the current 20 minute runs which was is too brutal. But don't worry, 20 minute runs are also here to stay. We have made a toggle for it on the level select screen so people who want to do 20 minute Turbo mode runs can still do them.
Below are the full patch notes.
Patch Notes:
Added invulnerability to dash.
You can now select between a 25 minute standard run or a 20 minute turbo run on level select.
Perks Rework: Every 5 levels will now spawn a guaranteed Stat Upgrade.
Added new Quick HUB Buttons: Smithing, Enchanting, Shop, Training, Magic Training, Abyss, and Bug Report.
Fixed: HUB Buttons appearing in front of level select UI after closing.
Fixed: Last training level cannot be achieved.
Fixed: Golden Edge dealing 2x of intended damage.
Fixed: Card rewards displaying as x0 on Level Select Rewards screen.
Made Face Tank advancement single copy.
Made projectile increasing advancements more rare.
Changed Mildred's basic attacks to rely on Dexterity.
Fixed: Cursor is now locked within the window on windowed mode.
Again, really sorry for taking this long to fix this, everyone. To be honest, the negative reviews really took a toll on my mental health and it also took a lot of potential sales we could have had during our release month. It has also made me slower as a result.
But I know it's your right as the customer to voice your frustrations and I don't want to take that away from you. A lot of game developers these days really take gamers for granted. I just want to let everyone know that no matter what, I'm fully committed on completing this game. And I'm always happy to hear feedback and bug reports based off your experience.
This is why I have also added a bug report tool that you can use in the game. It's found on the HUB buttons. If you find any bugs or want to give some feedback, we would appreciate if you use that tool to report it.
The best place still to report bugs is on our discord server.
We have a lot of cool people there now. And some of the mare even already making mods for the game.
Again, thank you everyone for playing the game and for supporting us since the release! See you next week for the Chapter 3 rework and possibly some new cards!
