Reel & Deal changes
New: Steam Achievements
90 Steam Achievements are now live — from your very first cast to clearing the campaign, defeating every boss, completing the Atlas, landing record catches, and surviving the deepest Endless runs. Lifetime stat tracking now powers your long-term progress. Fresh Look
A brand-new REEL & DEAL logo, on the title screen and in your Steam library. Performance
Fixed the stutter when landing Diamond (and other high-tier) catches — the catch screen now runs smoothly, no more hiccup. Boss Battles
Bosses now unleash their opening-phase abilities as intended (stolen bait, locked slots, burned cards) — phase one is no longer a free ride. The Leviathan's Devouring Maw now actually devours your most valuable catch. The Abyssal Maw's void corruption now drains catch quality as described (it was accidentally improving your catches). Gear, Shop & Economy
Gear now lasts its full advertised number of trips; boss-drop gear gets its proper Endless lifespan too. Leviathan's Jaw and Nameless Coin now apply their bonus on your biggest catches (they were being silently capped away). Shop rerolls always return a full set of slots, even when you already own most gear. "Set Sail" no longer skips a trip on a fast double-click. Controller & Keyboard
Fixed a navigation soft-lock where the Shop and Fishing screens could become unreachable with a controller/keyboard after certain actions. Endless Mode
Deep Endless runs now submit correctly to the leaderboards. Per-catch values now display and record accurately in Endless (they were understated on catch cards and in your records). Stability & Polish
Sturdier saves
emergency saves are written atomically, and a corrupted save no longer leaves a dead "Continue" button. Method-less "generic" casts no longer lose the cards you play, and now count toward stats and challenges.
Smaller touches
thousands separators in the HUD, consumable refunds on empty waters, a clear prompt for the Siren's bait limit, and more.
