REDSHOT changes
PATCH NOTES
This first major content update for REDSHOT includes new side content, remixed encounters in new game plus, a variety of visual improvements, and numerous bug fixes. Full patch notes below:
New Content
New game plus now features remixed enemy and boss encounters, giving a new and fresh challenge to anyone wanting to play through the game a second time.
You can now enter in the bounceball tournament taking place in Carcosa. Completing the 7 bounceball arenas scattered around the map will earn you a brand new gun!
- A new gun was added as a reward for completing the bounceball tournamentthe Golden Gun, a beefier and improved version of your starting raygun.
Two new achievements were added. One for completing the bounceball tournament, and the other for beating the game in new game plus mode.
Game Improvements
Level design improvements, for more varied and engaging gameplay
Improve background visuals for better visibility and contrast between foreground and background elements
Improve some enemy and object sprites
Some attacks that would otherwise kill you will now leave you with 1hp instead, giving you an extra chance to heal
Increased max health cap from 50 to 99
Increased stamina recharge rate
Improve spring objects
Doors that spawn soldiers will now spawn only elite soldiers while in NG+
Add bounceball arenas to map legend
Bug Fixes
Fix the game sometimes hanging if a dropped item gets stuck in a wall
Fix NPC and enemy ground friction
Improve object culling to reduce pop-in
Improve/fix controller vibration
Fix shooting behavior when sliding down walls
Fix broken secret in upper mines
Fix teleporter UI
Fix crash in upper mines room not having physics turned on
Fix room warp bug in secret forest room with vudu mask
Fix minotaur boss bounce attack ground collision
Fix player running super fast on the ground while underwater
Fix Rocket launcher dealing double damage
Fix Explosions and fire showing damage numbers even when glasses are not equipped
Fix bug with reaper enemy's health bar
Fix bounceball goals sometimes not registering when at 60fps and under
Fix flying grenadiers not dropping items on death
Fix minor player ground collision bug
