Version 1.4.8

We’ve now added a first-time user experience to give new players some guidance as to how to get started in the game. We’ve also added a time display so you can plan your loadout for day and night deployments. The team spent more time on optimizations, lowering some of the hardware requirements so the game runs smoother. New

  • European servers — added a European server region (eu-central-1) for lower latency and better connections for players in Europe.

  • New-player onboarding — guided first-time tips, including a night-vision prompt when it gets dark in your base.

  • Time-of-day indicator — a clock and day/night phase icon on the HUD and deploy screen for Marova.

  • Switch frame generation without restarting — swap between FSR and DLSS frame generation on the fly.

Graphics & Performance

  • Lower VRAM usage across all quality tiers — right-sized virtual-texture and shadow memory pools (~0.5 GB reclaimed on higher tiers).

  • Smoother frame times — fixed hitches from cloud-shadow updates and from decorative moving objects (clocks, fans) constantly refreshing shadows; added sky and lighting idle optimizations.

  • Fixed graphics quality getting stuck — settings no longer stay pinned to higher-tier values after you've run at Epic.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed crashes while streaming into the world and during travel.

  • Fixed a crash when equipping a weapon if the equip animation didn't play.

  • Fixed a crash in the kill feed.

  • Fixed a crash related to FSR frame generation.

  • Fixed your weapon scope going black when aiming down sights.
