Balance Changes

  • Reduced Sacrificial Door HP cost by 25%

  • Reduced Static Discharge damage (210 → 180)

  • Reduced Cataclysm damage (600 → 360)

  • Increased Fulminating Warp damage (300 → 350)

  • Reduced Seismic Surf damage (400 → 265)

  • Increased Crystalline Shards damage (100 → 120)

  • Increased Minion HP by approximately 15%

  • Increased Thin Air cooldown (10s → 14s)

  • Increased Lightning Touch Upgrade 3 cost (15 → 19)

  • Increased Arcane Battery Upgrade 3 cost (12 → 14)

  • Reduced essence costs on several spell upgrades

  • Adjusted Boreal Blade upgrade progression

  • Slightly reduced movement speed while using Boreal Blade

  • Aura offerings now better consider your current build

  • Corruptions now scale in severity based on the number of Corruptions in your build

Improvements

  • Reworked Rifts:

    • Damage taken inside Rifts no longer persists outside the Rift

    • Failing a Rift no longer ends the run

    • Players return to their original body after completing or failing a Rift

    • Potions can no longer be used inside Rifts

    • Successful Rifts now reward Golden Chests

  • Major improvements to the Grimoire, Aura, Rift, Quest, and Teleporter user interfaces

  • Improved readability, tooltips, notifications, and menu navigation throughout the game

  • Added new animations and visual effects for spells, upgrades, corruptions, and player interactions

  • Improved HUD functionality, settings menus, save slots, and loading screens

  • Improved various visual effects

  • Updated multiple spell icons

  • Added additional environmental decoration across levels

  • Improved level lighting

  • Added a visual indicator when Boulder Shot is fully charged

  • Improved attack animations for multiple enemies

  • Improved enemy attack telegraphs

  • Improved enemy navigation

  • Reduced AI rotation jitter for smoother enemy movement

  • Added new Level 1 room layouts

  • General music and audio polish throughout the game

  • Music now occurs more frequently during gameplay

  • Improved audio for:

    • Terrestrial Talon

    • Static Discharge

    • Windrush

    • Various enemy attacks and abilities

Fixes

  • Fixed multiple enemy AI and attack behavior issues

  • Fixed dungeon generation issues affecting room placement

  • Fixed Terrestrial Claw collision and inherited status effects

  • Fixed Rift spawns occasionally colliding with level geometry

  • Fixed Rift notifications overlapping with other HUD notifications

  • Fixed several spell tooltip inaccuracies

  • Fixed aura corruption previews displaying incorrect values

  • Fixed graphics presets occasionally loading incorrect settings

  • Fixed keybinding issues that could duplicate bindings or prevent rebinding

  • Fixed environmental collision and enemy spawning issues

  • Fixed various save slot issues

  • Fixed numerous UI inconsistencies and quality-of-life issues

  • Fixed a variety of stability, progression, and gameplay issues throughout the game

Optimization

  • Optimized Level 0, Level 1, and Rift environments

  • Optimized multiple spell and aura visual effects
