Hello everybody! Another update for the past 30 days or so
Extracted changes
- UI and audio
- Gameplay
- Fixes
- Maps
-Created global sound system for player steps. Each step, depending on the surface will play one of many sounds per surface
-Added 21 new sounds related to the above system
-Added 7 new enemies and began animating and giving them stats them
-Created boss room for Volcano dungeon
-Began work on volcano dungeon boss mechanics and related scripts
-New RPG in a box update lead to me playing through the entirety of the existing game, leading to bug squashing and reporting. Most if not all have been fixed
-Replaced some models with non-billboard sprites, these tend to be more flexible in the engine and allow for larger models for large set pieces etc
-Made snowfall more intense in certain maps
-Changed some doors on several maps to fit the theme/biome better
-Began work on fast travel system (very early)
