The Realms & Ruins: Abencor Steam demo is finally live! It's a small slice of the game to give you an idea of what to expect before I launch the full game. It contains a small area, the Listless Swamp and two mini dungeons with some monsters, traps, treasures and quests to do! I hope you enjoy it. Check out there Demo Here

With this demo, I'll also be submitting Realms & Ruins: Abencor to June Nextfest and shortly after, releasing the full game sometime after the Steam Summer sale, likely in July assuming there area no hiccups.

Here's all the stuff I've done since the March update:

• Fixed a bugged transition between Ivywood Forest and Ivywood Forest East that was incorrectly checking if a certain quest was completed

• Fixed incorrect facing for the dune tunnels entrance

• Corrected some inactive acid pools

• Fixed a variable from incorrectly displaying in a log message for acid pools

• Fixed a main quest softlock

• Fixed error in swamp when player tries to leave with the shop UI open

• Fixed a typo and facing in the map transition from the dragon tower

• Correctly made the ant soldier model a billboard

• Added fanfare sound when learning the Daylight spell

• Added fanfare sound when learning the Channel Arcana ability

• Added mana cost to the Daylight spell

• Increased ammo given in the Trial of Stone chest

• Added a mana check to the channel arcana skill

• Added an ammo check to the throwing axe skill

• Added an ammo check to the throwing dagger skill

• Added a door sound when leaving the Culceth guard tower

• Fixed typo in water logged book in the sunken galleon

• Removed an erroneous 3rd choice when choosing to leave or enter the sunken galleon

• Made it so the turtle won't leap into ocean, potentially soft locking a quest

• Bastion of the Prism turrets only damage the player now

• Added a death animation to the water spirit

• Fixed a bug with the channel arcana skill was not casting correctly with certain books equipped

• Fixed a bug with the channel arcana fireball, which was not actually damaging enemies

• Fixed an issue with the sandstorm staff projectile passing through enemies

• Made the zombie yaktaur model a billboard

• Made the snow goblin model a billboard

• Made Hydra Rubies not droppable

• Fixed the invisble roof in the frozen cave

• Fixed typos in healing words description

• Fixed frozen wraith attack animation which was erroneously looping

• Stopped the Barapha merchant from walking around

• Turned snow off in the graveyard boss room

• Appropriately removed a quest item during a cutscene in the Bastion of the Prism

• Added a sound effect and log message to the quest interactions in the Firevein Shrine

• Added fanfare sound effect when learning the healing spell

• Gave the firestarter enemy a ranged weapon

• Fixed a typo in a script related to the shop UI in Barapha

• Fixed a global variable not setting correctly, softlocking the main quest

• Corrected a missing navigation line in the Sandstorm Sanctum boss room

• Corrected a fail to load map due to a typo in an enemy name reference to the spawn system

• Adjusted the siren projectile speed to be less sluggish

• Made the firebrand model a billboard

• Added some missing
