addedThis week was marked by many small changes and improvements. I add the much needed monster abilities but also took some time to prepare underlying systems for the future.
addedThe most important addition are the enemy abilities. Bears can now punch you across the screen, Wolves lunge at you from a distance and Skeletons resurrect if you don't treat them with a boulder. Second is a Codex, that lists the most important objects in the game. It fits the game more and is easier to maintain than the tutorial, so it replaces it.
addedThe game's tutorial is replaced by a codex - Is found in menu and can explain nearby objects - Descriptions of the game objects are updated - Holding the wait button prevents falling off bridges - Axes attacks deal double damage if surrounded - Spear attacks deal double damage to lined-up enemies - Enemies now line up more for the spear - More enemies now spawn in hiding - Enemies are now more varied throughout the run - Shield bashing can now stop incoming projectiles - Bears and Trolls now have a punch attack - Wolves and Jackals now have a pounce attack - Zombies now grab and hold the hero - Centipedes now divide into Wrigglers when defeated - Path segments now vary more in their length - Pacifying charms have been removed for now - Skeletons now resurrect after a short while - Cocoons are now more fragile - Buffing potions are now found in chests - Charms are now found in bronze boxes - Active weapon charms now break weapons faster - Global health and damage numbers have changed a bit - XInput is now supported on Windows - Ranged enemies now try to keep their distance - Sound effects are now more even - The portal flight looks a bit better now - Foam sounds are improved

The most important addition are the enemy abilities. Bears can now punch you across the screen, Wolves lunge at you from a distance and Skeletons resurrect if you don't treat them with a boulder. Second is a Codex, that lists the most important objects in the game. It fits the game more and is easier to maintain than the tutorial, so it replaces it.

Thank you all for your support and until next week!
