This patch will change random generation such that loading a save from a previous version will result in items, enemies and other RNG elements to not be what they were before. Once this update is on the main branch, I will make the previous patch available on a separate branch for save compatibility.

New Content

  • Added arrowsteal passive to weapons

  • Armor can now have increased damage bonus at the expense of defense

  • Added auto equip difficulty modifier. With this modifier, items you find will automatically be equipped and old items consumed.

Balancing and Fixes

  • Increased attack speed values on armor

  • Armor can now roll increased jump (this was a bug)

  • Flame bow projectiles now stay on ground after traveling max distance, always pierce, but have reduced damage

  • Bow cost depends more on its passives, base cost reduced

  • Bombs now stack when consumed regardless of color

  • Blood Magic lifesteal no longer scales with weapon cost

  • Shurikens can get higher pierce and bounce counts, damage is lower the more it can pierce and bounce, but base damage is increased

  • Fireball costs less and is faster to cast

  • Healing and arrow potions scale less with levels

  • Drilling on throw type weapons pierces more times

  • Color changes of multiple passives can combine now

  • Potions can no longer have lifesteal that does nothing

  • Fixed lifesteal having reduced effectiveness on one boss

Misc Changes

  • Item highlight now works on items in different rooms on the map screen

  • Help screen can now be scrolled faster on controller
