Order System Overhaul

Party-wide orders and individual orders, which used to be set separately, now work as one system: issuing a party-wide order automatically unfolds into individual orders for each member.

Along with this, you can now choose more tactical party maneuvers, such as encircling formations and divided targeting.

Orders can also be issued from the always-visible control panel, letting you decide when to push and when to pull back without breaking the flow of battle.

Unified Behavior Across All Factions

All factions now act on a common thinking engine.

NPC and enemy parties behave just like your own, acting strategically under their leaders' orders.

Their pack tactics and decisions to flee have become more sophisticated, improving the quality of movement across the board.

Within this framework, we've also given each species its own distinctive behavior, making enemies more individual.

A Descend-and-Return Game Cycle

We've redesigned the game around a core cycle: delve deeper with the "Descend" order, and fall back to the safe room at your starting point with the "Evacuate" order.

In the safe room, HP and MP/SP fully recover, and potions are restocked.

We've also revised enemy placement so that challenging enemies appear from the middle floors onward.

Improvements

  • A warning sound now plays when the character you control drops to critical HP.

  • Attack range, previously uniform, now varies by class and enemy species, and weapons can extend it.

  • Equipment that your character cannot equip is now shown semi-transparent, making it easier to tell apart than before.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where characters could momentarily jump to a different position.

  • Fixed an issue where characters could stop animating while moving.

  • Fixed various issues where allies or enemies could get stuck in certain situations.

We look forward to your feedback.
