Update 009: Playtest Signup

  • Playtest

  • Playtest Roadmap

Hey friendos. Short month means the update is a little behind. We’re going to be cheeky with this update and keep it short and sweet:

Playtest

Yup. We figured we should start making a list. Just for transparency, Railborn will eventually have a demo, and of course an Early Access version. These are probably going to be the most polished and enjoyable experiences. My suggestion is for the majority of people to wait until then.

A few important notes which make me sound like not a fun guy, I swear I’m a fun guy, but still:

  • Signing up does not guarantee access to Railborn before the demo/Early Access.

  • Please don’t email / message us on Discord about access – we love you all – we just don’t have the bandwidth to select people not through the signup form.

  • This signup form will be available for approximately a week.

  • CosmeticOffers to help out will be rolling out over 2026we will say if otherwise

Blah blah blah where’s the signup form: https://forms.gle/PJKskbaqxnDFapoy7

Playtest Roadmap

What are our objectives for playtests? Essentially two-fold: first to find out what parts are fun, what parts are less fun. Second is to help smooth out the edges by finding bugs. Both incredibly important and helpful. The worst part about helping us, is you might only be seeing a small slice of the game, and likely a slice that is probably the roughest. What parts you ask? Could be:

  • Demo

  • Certain parts of the full world (not exactly sure *how* to drop folks in later game)

  • Multiplayer

When does all this start? I don’t know. We’re a real fly by the seat of your pants operation. That’s half the fun.
