Thank You for Playing Raidbound
First off — thank you all so much for playing Raidbound. As a solo developer, this project has been both a challenging and deeply rewarding journey. Seeing players enjoy what I’ve created makes every late night and long weekend worth it.
As I prepare for the full launch, I want to share a quick update: the demo has been adjusted to conclude after Day 6. This change allows me to keep the demo live for new players to experience while continuing to update and refine it over time.
Looking Ahead
Since it’s just me developing Raidbound, my focus after launch will shift toward expanding the game with new content. The full release will include:
Tier 3 units
New equipment and abilities
Various balance and quality-of-life improvements
I’ve spent the past year bringing Raidbound to life, and after launch, I plan to take a short breather before diving into future updates. Until release, my top priority will be bug fixes and polish to ensure the smoothest experience possible.
Why Not Early Access?
I debated whether Raidbound should launch in Early Access. In the end, I decided against it. While there’s plenty I still want to add and refine, I didn’t want the game to sit indefinitely in an “in progress” state. I’ll continue improving and expanding Raidbound — just at my own pace, without the constraints of an Early Access label.
Price & Launch Details
Raidbound will launch at a price of $4.99 USD, with no launch discount. I believe this price fairly reflects the scope of the experience while helping me continue to build the game’s future.
Final Words
Once again, thank you all for your support, feedback, and enthusiasm throughout development.
