changedWork on Radioactivity resumed in December 2025 after a short break. And the pause was very useful, because Radioactivity now is very different (and better) than Demo or its EA versions. Total concept re-thinked, originally we started on the level of co-op, collect loot and get scared by monsters level. With, of course, very unique systems such as a procedural nature and dynamic radiation that affects it. However, after a thorough months-long brainstorming, it grew to a more hardcore and sandbox experience with the main mechanics expanded drastically. The original loop of collecting meteorites was shallow, and I built a deeper one. Hence, below is the short list of changes, and once the Store Update in March is done, there will be a detailed explanation of all that's coming, followed by early play tests.
addedUpcoming Store Update - new properly done graphics and description listing all new features
addedUpcoming Game Concept Update: The entire world is now a dynamic sandbox where players fight the main enemy - contamination Contamination changes everything. I expanded on the dynamicness, and now the entire ecosystem is affected: flora, fauna, soil, rivers and swamps Players will use wind and weather forecasts, record and rely on measurements and tools to decontaminate the world and make it green again Players can send vehicles that, in their turn, will build structures and remediation facilities In later versions, terraforming and terrain alterations are on the to-do (with functional prototypes available now!) New dynamic world and biomes All solo or co-op!
