Radioactivity changes
Steam post image Hey, developer is here! First, I am very happy to see people trying the demo during Next Fest and leaving feedback! I check and read every single comment and piece of advice. Demo is updated to v0.3.9, and that's the last update before early access. Here are some of the tips and notes to make the experience with Radioactivity the best.

Weapons and Reloading:
Gun handling might seem daunting at first, but don't fear, it can be mastered and done times faster than any usual animation in common shooters. Here is a secret for keyboard users: Hot keys for inventory will select items of the next categories in sequence: 1 - Weapons 2 - Tools 3 - Magazines So load that magazine beforehand, pick up the pistol To do the fastest reloading of all shooter games, you can press the next sequence: 1 -> Q -> Left Mouse Button -> Q -> R It gets way cooler with practice!
Collecting Radioactive Crystals:
If it's hard to find crystals in the forest, wait till the night (later skip day will be introduced when deployed). Crystals glow and are very easy to find when it's dark. Also, don't forget to check Crystal Resonance on a hand watch, it tells how many are still around (not exactly, so 1 small crystal is aprox. 3.3 dB)

Quick Q&A:
Does Radioactivity Onboarding reflect the actual full game? - Yes, and no, the demo is more of a semi-linear intro into a game world. There are no deployments into the actual exclusion area yet. However, the main mechanics and general feel are well demonstrated and will be improved based on the feedback.
Why demo is so short? - Sorry, I don't want to rush things and release an "experience that lacks that experience", if you know what I mean. Deployments, actual objectives, and atmosphere are being cooked and will be released in a better shape. Plus, all the feedback.
Stalker but multiplayer? - Well, almost, with bits of Pacific Drive. But I envision no anomalies, instead a very dynamic nature that is interactive and feels like part of the game, fauna and mutants leave their life, not just spawn in front of a player, and "sectors" - areas that players deploy to, are all procedural and dynamic. They change visually based on pollution, and hence, flora and fauna change too.
